This Privacy Policy explains how ProductPare collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you browse the website, create an account, save products, submit reviews, subscribe to updates, or contact us.

Information we collect

We may collect account information such as your name, email address, and securely hashed password; content you choose to submit, including reviews and contact messages; saved products and account preferences; and limited technical data such as IP-derived security hashes, browser type, device type, referring page, and site activity.

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts and wishlists, respond to enquiries, moderate reviews, prevent abuse, improve search and comparisons, measure site performance, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides basic profile information such as your name, email address, and account identifier. ProductPare uses it to create or access your account. We do not receive your Google password.

Cookies and local storage

Essential cookies support sessions, security, sign-in, and saved preferences. Local browser storage may remember comparison or wishlist choices. See our Cookie Policy for more information.

Service providers and retailer links

We may use hosting, database, analytics, authentication, email, security, and product-data providers to operate the service. When you follow a retailer link, that retailer receives information according to its own privacy policy. Some outbound links may contain an affiliate identifier.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, including security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may update your profile, unsubscribe from optional messages, or request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and necessary fraud-prevention or record-keeping exceptions.

Children

ProductPare is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
